Heather Huitt serves as Director of Aircraft Management at Aspen Aero Group, where she leads fleet oversight, operational strategy, and client-focused aircraft management solutions. With a career spanning aviation operations, regulatory compliance, and private aircraft management, Heather brings a rare combination of technical depth and practical execution to the role.
Heather’s aviation career began early, starting as a teenager packing parachutes, and has since evolved into leadership roles overseeing complex aircraft operations. Prior to joining Aspen Aero Group, she served as an Aviation Officer with LIFT™ Aviation, managing aircraft operations, maintenance coordination, scheduling, and client advisory across a diverse fleet. Her experience also includes extensive work in aviation law and regulatory compliance, supporting complex aircraft transactions, FAA documentation, International Registry filings, and operational regulatory analysis.
At Aspen Aero Group, Heather oversees managed aircraft with a focus on operational efficiency, service customization, and adherence to the highest safety and regulatory standards. She works closely with owners to align aviation services with their specific needs, ensuring consistency, transparency, and best practices across every aspect of aircraft management.
Heather holds a Master of Science in Aviation Safety and is a commercial pilot with instrument rating. She has contributed to industry education and safety initiatives through participation in FAA rulemaking efforts, NBAA advisory groups, and aviation safety forums.
